Clara Beatrice Maine

Mrs. Clara Beatrice Maine, age 84, of Gainesboro TN departed this life Monday, November 25, 2013 at Master’s Health Care Center. Clara was born May 9, 1929 in Salisbury Center, New York to the late Earl Youker and Nina Sponaville Youker. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who enjoyed farming, gardening and providing for her family, always putting them first. She never met a stranger and enjoyed wind chimes and watching butterflies. Her dog, Cooper, was always by her side. Mrs. Maine is survived by two children; Grace (Edward M.) Clemens of Gainesboro, TN and Herbert W. (Cris) of Dolgeville, NY. She is also survived by three brothers, Earl James Youker Stratford NY, Harvey Youker of Horsehead NY, and Lendol Youker of Rotterdam NY, one sister Cristy (Jimmy); eight grandchildren; Melissa (Wade) Scott, James (Heather) Clemens, Jennifer Randall, David Randall, Rebeca Vanhorn, Michael Randall, Matthew Randall, and Willie Shram. Clara is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; Joel, Jordan, Conner, Geoff, Emma Rose, Marissa, Anthony, Bryson and Alyssa. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Maine was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Maine; one son, George Randall; and two brothers, Lenny Youker and Harvey Youker. A memorial service and inurnment of Mrs. Maine’s cremains will be held at the Salisbury Rural Cemetery in Salisbury, NY.
