Christopher Desentz

Mr. Christopher Mark Desentz, age 71 of Cookeville passed away Sunday morning, October 20, 2019 at Bethesda Health Care Center. Mr. Desentz's wishes of cremation are being honored and a memorial service will be held at a later date. He was born August 26, 1948 in Detroit, MI to the late Robert and Reba Martin Desentz. He was a graduate of Riverside High School in Detroit. Mr. Desentz served his country as a member of the United States Army and was a Vietnam War Veteran. He worked as a commercial electrician. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Desentz. He is survived by his wife, Marybeth Desentz; their three daughters, Ashley Desentz and partner Richard Campbell and their daughter, Havenmae Campbell, Billie Kibler and partner Phillip VanDervort and their daughter Laurel VanDervort, and Emma Alexander and partner and their daughter Ariana Alexander; his sons, Christpher Desentz, Jr. and wife Christian and their sons, Zachary and Brody; Paul Desentz and wife Erica and their children, Jesse; Paige and Rose; his daughter, Kristin Thames and husband Charles and their children, Michael, Landon and Olivia; his sister, Roberta Thomason and husband Louie; and his brother, Michael Desentz and wife Michelle.
