Chris "Bo" Bohannon

Funeral services for Mr. Christopher "Chris" "Bo" Harlan Bohannon, age 51 of Cookeville, will be held Thursday, August 11th at 4 p.m. at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Cookeville City Cemetery. Bro. Buddy Johnson will officiate. Mr. Bohannon's family will receive friends Thursday from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. He died Monday, August 8, 2016 at Overton County Health & Rehab Center. He was born December 31, 1964 in Putnam County to Barbara McClain Little and the late Harlan Taylor Bohannon. He graduated from Cookeville High in 1983 and also from Tennessee Tech with a degree in business management. Chris was employed as a manager with the Nashville Auto Auction for over 30 years. He had a deep love for his family and had many friends. He will be remembered for his happy, jolly and outgoing nature. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and watersports and was a great cook. He was a member of Jefferson Avenue Church of Christ. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his step father, Jim Little. In addition to his mother, he is survived by sons, Mason Bohannon and Parker Bohannon; sister, Annalisa Sorrell; mother to his children, Kim Bohannon; nieces, Hannah Sorrell and Jordan Capps; nephew, Beau Waller; step mother, Janice Bohannon; step sisters, Tracy Swack and Leann Talley; and by step brother, Darrell Little Robin Treadway, Robert Brown, Buster Larsen, Charlie Clark, Tim Goff, Bobby Kurzrock, John Zalewski and Nathan Fletcher will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenny Burgess, Mike Bowman, Josh Powell and Sean Powell. Memorial contributions may be made to Happy Haven Children's Home, 2311 Wakefield Dr., Cookeville, TN 38501.
