Cherl Crouch

Funeral services for Cherl June Crouch, 66 of Cookeville will be Wednesday, January 31 at 1 PM at the Dyer Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Cookeville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4 to 8 PM and after 11 AM at the funeral home. Bro. James Patton will officiate.

Cherl died Saturday, January 27, 2024 at her home.

She was born August 7, 1957 in Cookeville to the late J.C. And Billie June Richardson Maynard.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Vickie Sue Wright and a brother Eddie Martin Maynard.

She was a 1975 graduate of Upperman High School in Baxter.

Cherl was a loyal dedicated employee of Kroger in Cookeville serving since 2002 as a cashier and later in floral design. She also volunteered time and donated to the Putnam County Archives.

Cherl enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include husband of 42 years (Married December 12, 1981) Jeff Crouch of Cookeville, daughter Jenna Young, sons Jacob Crouch, Joseph Crouch all of Cookeville, sister, Melinda (Johnny) Brewington of Cookeville, brothers JLynn (Teresa) Maynard of Silver Point, Donald Maynard and Randy (Scerina) Maynard all of Boma, Ronald (Su-nae) Maynard of Baxter, grandchildren Caydence, Lyla and Judah Young.

Joseph Crouch, Josh, Daniel & Edward Maynard, Levi Brewington, Corey Jackson, Tom Crouch and Terry Julian will serve as pallbearers.
