COOKEVILLE CHAPEL-Charlotte Allred Walker, went to be with our Lord on Saturday April 19, 2025, in Cookeville, Tennessee. Born on October 27, 1932, in the Allred Community of Overton County, Tennessee, Charlotte came from a loving family, with parents Jonathan Allred and Ova Neely Allred. She is remembered by those who knew her for her outgoing and independent spirit.
Charlotte poured her heart into everything she did, bringing kindness and friendliness into all her interactions. Among her proudest accomplishments was managing Lamar Alexander's gubernatorial campaign in Middle Tennessee in 1974, a testament to her dedication and belief in her community.
Additionally, she owned and operated an art gallery in Cookeville, showcasing her love for art and connecting with fellow art enthusiasts. After moving to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in 1975 she enjoyed a long career as a real estate agent.
In her leisure time, Charlotte enjoyed playing bridge with friends and participating in golf and tennis, activities that enriched her life and allowed her to share joyful moments with others.
She leaves behind two beloved daughters, Jane Enochs (Al) and Amy Scholz (John), who cherished their mother's unwavering support and love. Charlotte was also a proud grandmother to Hunter Enochs (Christina), Jim Enochs (Chelsea), Will Enochs (Samantha), Daniel Walker (Beth), Eric Walker, Bonnie Kate Walker, Michael Scholz (Abby), and Andrew Scholz. Her family continues to grow, as she is survived by her great-grandchildren Hudson, Lainey, and Reid Scholz, and Grey and Lowe Enochs who brought her immense joy and pride. Charlotte was preceded in death by her son, Bill Walker and siblings, Joanna Holloway and Priscilla Baxter.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday April 26 at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home. Visitation for friends and family will be Saturday from 2 - 3 p.m.

Her legacy of kindness and passion will remain in the hearts of those she touched throughout her life.
