Charlotte Stout

Charlotte Ann Loftis Stout, 63, of Merryville, LA, and formerly of the Hilham Community, passed from this life on Thursday, September 21, 2017. Charlotte was born Monday March 15, 1954 in Detroit, MI. She came to Christ at an early age in her life. She had a strong faith in Jesus Christ. She graduated as Salutatorian from Livingston Academy in Livingston, TN in 1972. She was somewhat reserved, quiet, tenderhearted, and strong willed. She was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter and sister; very loving and caring. She will forever be treasured in our hearts. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 38 years, Jimmie Lynn Stout of Merryville, LA; son, Jamey Lynn Stout of Merryville, LA; parents, Howard & Lennie Waites Loftis of Hilham, TN; sisters, Mary Joyce Hammett & David of Chattanooga, TN and Debbie Ramsey & Randall of Cookeville, TN. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, George & Ollie Loftis and her maternal grandparents, Herman & Margie Waites. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 PM at Apostolic Church in Merryville with Rev. Guy Snyder officiating. Interment will follow in Spikes Cemetery.
