Charles Gentry

Charles William Gentry, known affectionately as Charles to his friends and family, passed away unexpectedly at his residence in Cookeville, TN on August 27, 2024, at the age of 43.

Born on July 27, 1981, in Cookeville, Charles was a cherished son and friend. He is survived by his father, Don Gentry, and his wife, Nancy Hickey Gentry; his mother, Jo Ann Deckard, and her husband, Mike, along with his sister, Leena Gentry, and his sister-in-law, Jennifer Gentry. Charles is also survived by his niece and nephew, Samuel and Elisabeth Gentry.

Preceded in death by his brother, Jason Robert Gentry, Charles's spirit will live on in the memories of those he touched. A service to celebrate his life will be held at a later date, with interment at Odd Fellows Cemetery. Charles's passion, kindness, and infectious smile will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
