Charlene Wanser

Charlene "Char" Ann Wanser, 81 of McMinnville and formerly of Silver Point, passed away peacefully, Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Ascension St. Thomas Hospital in McMinnville, TN surrounded by her loving family. Her wishes of cremation and no service are being honored. She was born July 5, 1941 in Mason City, Illinois to the late Charles and Ann E. Hines Thomas. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Albert "AL" Lewis Wanser on July 3, 2015. She was a retired teacher's aide. Char loved reading, traveling, playing cards, taking walks in her yard and spending time with family and friends. She was a member of Honey Creek Baptist Church in Honey Creek, Wisconsin. Survivors include daughters Jodie Kay Wanser of Burlington, Wisconsin, Linda Sue (Ricky) Taylor of Coalmont, Tn., son Scot (Kristen) Wanser of Brighton, TN., grandchildren: Jordan Michael Kennedy, Britta Noel Kegarise, Salina Renee Wanser, Kendall Wayne Erickson, Hunter Nicole Wanser, Logan Scot Wanser, Collin Mark Wanser, Emma Ann Kendall, Kyler A. Taylor, Ella M. Taylor, Charlie F. Taylor and Ricky "Bryce" Taylor, great-grandchild: Farris Kennedy, also her pet cat, Mouse.
