Charlene Goff

Graveside services and interment for Charlene Goff, 81 of Baxter, will be Saturday, July 16 at 1:30 PM at Goff Cemetery in DeKalb County. The family will receive friends at Dyer Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home Saturday from 11 AM until we leave in procession at 1 PM to the cemetery. Bro. Danny Lane will officiate. Mrs. Goff died Thursday, July 14, 2022 at her home. She was born July 16, 1940 in Putnam County to the late Charlie Dow and Annie Herd Thomas. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Dow Goff on March 10, 2017, son Stanley Dale Goff, sisters Elmus Britt, Wilma Maxwell, Treva Luke, Nellene Willey, brothers King David Thomas, JV Thomas and Charles Thomas. Charlene was a homemaker and machine operator with McCord's of Cookeville. She was a member of Bethlehem Church of Christ. Charlene was a great cook, she enjoyed working in her flowers, garden and canning. Charlene loved spending time with family and friends. Survivors include daughter Debbie Jackson, sons Jeff ( Brenda) Goff, Tony Goff, Jimmy (Jennifer) Goff all of Baxter, sister Mary Ellen Lafever, brother Carlyn Thomas both of Baxter, grandchildren: Annie Jackson, Jon Goff, Josh Goff, Jesse Goff, Paris Goff, Keegan Goff, Karli Goff, great grandchildren: Davie May Holloway, Iris Smith, Thor Goff, Axell Goff, Wilder and Wilkin Goff.
