Memorial Services for Catherine "CATHY" Michele Jones, 50 of Cookeville will be Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 11 A.M. at Cookeville Life Church with Pastor Bobby Davis and Pastor David Corley officiating. Mrs. Jones passed away Saturday, November 16, 2013 at her home surrounded by family and friends. She was born June 7, 1963 in Detroit, MI . She was an accountant with Dunn Electric in Ann Arbor, MI. until moving to Cookeville in 2002. She was a member of Cookeville Life Church where she served as a Greeter. She was part of a Tuesday Bible Study Group. Her interests were Interior Decorating and design and she had a love for music. She was admired for her spirit during her illness and showed her true love and faith. She welcomed everyone with a smile and was a very forgiving person. She is survived by husband of 27 years Raymond Jones (Whom she married on May 10, 1986 in Detroit),mother Virginia Savinsky of Cookeville, Aunt Dorothy Savinsky of Brighton, MI, brother Michael (Noreen) Savinsky of Bradenton, FL, father-in-law James Jones (and the late Olympia Jones) of Cookeville, brother-in-law James Jones of Springfield, MO. The family will receive friends Monday from 4 to 8 P.M. at the church and after 10 A.M. Tuesday. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
