Carolyn Smith

Memorial services and interment for Mrs. Edith Carolyn Smith, age 90 of Cookeville, will be held at a later date in the Meadowlawn Memorial Park in New Port Richey, FL Mrs. Smith died Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born September 20, 1923 in Morristown, NJ to the late George and Bessie Greene Wheeler. Mrs. Smith was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cloyd Milburn Smith; two brothers, Louie and Frank Wheeler; and sister, Nellie Everett. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Karen Smith, Lee and Esther Smith, all of Cookeville; three grandchildren, Nathan (Melissa) Smith, Benjamin Smith, and Caitlin (Matthew) Lockett; and sister, Thelma Stidworthy of Bentonville, AR.
