Carol Mayberry

Private services for Carol Mayberry, age 62 of Cookeville, were held at the Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home. Interment followed at Vickers Cemetery.

Carol passed away Wednesday morning November 23, 2022 at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville.

She was born March 5, 1960 in Cookeville, TN to the late William Carl Mahan Jr. and Lorine Howard Mahan.

Carol was of the Church of Christ faith. She formerly worked at Oster and Fleetguard (Cummins Filtration).

Carol was a wonderful wife, loving mother, and an awesome Gan-Gan to her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Cordell Mayberry, whom she married May 31, 1974 in Jackson County, TN; daughters, Susie (Rick) Coffman of Lafayette, TN, Kristie (Jeff) Huff of Manchester, TN; grandchildren, Joshua (Katelyn) Huff and Kelsey Huff (Tyler Bogle) of Manchester, Alea Coffman, Liam Coffman of Lafayette and Kylar Coffman of Florida; brothers, Carlen Mahan and Carlis Mahan of Baxter; a sister, Brinda Mahan of Baxter.
