Carol Betty Neal

Funeral Services for Mrs. Carol Betty Neal, Age 66, of Hermitage, will be held Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mt. Juliet Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon. The family will receive friends and family Saturday, August 2, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. until time of the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Neal passed on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at Alive Hospice in Nashville. She was born February 11, 1948 in Somerset KY to the late Murrell Stewart and Christine Ping Stewart. Carol spent most of her adult life in Indiana before moving back to this area to be near her family. She is of the Baptist faith, and was a loving mother and grandmother. Carol is survived by her daughter, Melody Cummings (fianc J.R. Matheney) of Hermitage, her son, John Neal of Cookeville, four grandchildren; Aston Penley (Caleb) Tollison, Emma Cummings, Riley Neal and Tyler Neal, three sisters; Brenda Bowling (Steve) Morrow of Greenwood IN, Doris Marlow of Kokomo IN, Glenda Terry of New Castle IN; and one brother, Dallas Stewart of Somerset KY. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her twin brother, Leslie Harold Stewart. Pallbearers will be friends and family. Bro. Ken Haney will officiate the services.
