Funeral services for Carlena Nash Allison, 91 of Milford, MI, will be Tuesday, February 28 at 2 PM at the Dyer Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Boiling Springs Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday, February 27 from 12 Noon until 3 PM and 6 PM until 8 PM and Tuesday from 12 Noon until service time at the funeral home. Bro. Gary West will officiate.

Mrs. Allison passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 in Milford.

She was born December 14, 1931 in Baxter to the late Carl and Maggie Lena Myatt Nash.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Allison, Jr. on May 31, 1979; a son, Dwight Allison; sister, Betty Jo Nash; brothers, Norman Levi Nash and Armon Nash.

Carlena cherished her family and delighted in her role as a grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, singing gospel hymns, and gardening, taking particular pride in her variety of rose bushes.

Survivors include son, Carlos (Lisa) Allison; sisters, Norma (Roy) Austin of Troy, MI, Linda Swallows of Baxter, Connie (Ronnie) Whittaker of Nashville; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and several generations of cousins, nieces and nephews.
