Carl Everett Bohannon

Memorial service for Mr. Carl Everett Bohannon, age 64, of Cookeville, who passed away November 19, 2012 at his residence. Carl was born October 21, 1948 in Cookeville TN to the late Roy Hobert Bohannon Sr. and Helen Scarlet Bohannon. Mr. Bohannon was a magnificent mechanic and enjoyed restoring cars and building hotrods. He is survived by his daughter; Jennifer Bohannon McCullough of Oak Ridge, TN, Two grandchildren; Lindsey and Seth McCullough, cousins; Ewin (Brenda) Ferrell of Cookeville, Lois Vickers of Cookeville, Betty (Ray) Ogletree of Nashville, and Steve Derrick of Harriman TN and a nephew Jeff Gadd and fianc (Kristen Jackson) of Chattanooga, TN In addition to his parents, Carl was preceded in death by his grandmother; Hallie Myrtle Chism, one brother; Roy Hobert Bohannon Jr, sister; Anna Marie Derrick and a nephew Jason Bohannon. The family has chosen cremation and a memorial service will be held Monday, November 26, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that contributions be made to the American Cancer Society. Bro. Charles Cook will officiate the service. Mr. Bohannon's cremains will be buried at a later date in the Judd Cemetery.
