Carl Arbogast

Mr. Carl Ronald Arbogast, age 87, of Cookeville, died Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Saint Thomas Highlands Hospital in Sparta. No services will be held at this time and his wishes of cremation are being honored. He was born April 19, 1929 in Ruddle, West Virginia to the late Jeffrey and Clara Raines Arbogast. Carl served his country as a member of the US Marines Reserve and US Air Force. He retired from Bendix Transportation Management Corporation in South Bend, Indiana as the Vice President of Operations. Upon retirement, he and his wife moved to Cookeville where he has lived for the past 26 years. He is a member of Algood United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter Cindy, grandson Shane, sisters Wanda West and Violet Kruger and by the mother of his children, Dorothy. He is survived by his wife Isabel "Jan" Januszczak Arbogast; son Jeffrey of Niles, Michigan, daughters, Kim of Cottonwood, AZ and Saundra of Prescott, AZ; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sister Maxine Cramblett of Texas; and extended family in US, Canada and Philippines.
