Bruce Hunter

Private Family graveside services for Bruce Ray Hunter, 63 of Cookeville, will be Monday, April 13 at Algood City Cemetery. Pastor Ed Malone will officiate. Mr. Hunter died Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born July 29, 1956 in Cookeville to the late Ottis and Betty York Hunter. He was a graduate of Putnam County Senior High and member of Eastwood Baptist Church. Mr. Hunter was a retired janitor at Tennessee Tech University. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Patricia Steward Hunter (whom he married May 29, 1977 in Cookeville); three sons, Scottie, Jeffery and Brandon Hunter all of Cookeville; brother and sister-in-law, Jeff and Pam Hunter; aunts and uncle: JoAnn Hunter, Frank and Jean Gregory all of Cookeville.
