Bro. Carl Wilmoth

Funeral services for Bro. Carl Samuel Wilmoth, age 87 of Algood, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday October 15 at Algood Church of Christ. Bro. John Chowning and Bro. David Dalton will officiate. Interment will follow at Phillips Cemetery in Algood.

His family will receive Friday from 5 - 8 p.m. at the church and again Saturday from 9 a.m. until time of services.

Bro. Wilmoth passed away Thursday October 13, 2022 at his home.

He was born March 12, 1935 in Overton County, TN to the late Perry and Sheila Robbins Wilmoth.

Bro. Wilmoth preached for over 50 years at several Church of Christ Churches in the Upper Cumberland region including, O'Connor, Silver Point, Bethlehem, Netherland, Algood, Athens, Taft, Gibson Avenue, Allons, and Quebeck.

He is survived by his son, James (Vickie) Wilmoth of Sparta; daughter, Cindy (Mike) Johnson of Algood; daugher-in-law, Jaime (Al) Wilmoth Willis of Harriman, TN; grandchildren, William (Holly) Wilmoth, Misty (Joe David) Fortner, Racheal Johnson, Jennifer (Tyler) Farsoun, and Ethan Wilmoth; great grandchildren, Xander Wilmoth, Kaylee Wilmoth, Anderson Fortner, Carly Fortner, Joely Fortner, Elliot Wilmoth, Katie Farsoun, and Kendall Farsoun.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Beason Wilmoth; son, Bobby Joe Wilmoth; grandson, Perry Johnson; sister, Mildred Bowman; and brother, Bro. Paul Wilmoth.

Pallbearers are William Wilmoth, Ethan Wilmoth, Xander Wilmoth, Steven Bowman , Tyler Farsoun , and Jonathan Dalton.

Honorary Pallbearers are David Padimukkala, Ravi Dasari, Lazarus Chintogunta, Lalaiah Nadella, Yesupadam Battula, Sharu Gandham, Prabhudoss Gandham, and Larry Farrell
