Funeral services for PFC Brian Clarke Walton, 21 of Cookeville will be Wednesday, Feb. 29 at 4 P.M. from the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home with Dr. Randall Adkisson and Rev. Charlie Hutchinson officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the United States Marine Corps Honor Guard. PFC Walton died along with his fiancée, Kayla Biddy (of Cleveland, TN), Saturday, February 25, 2012 in a motor vehicle accident in Jackson County, Tn. They were to have been married in October 2012. He was born September 17, 1990 in Memphis, Tn. He was a 2008 graduate of Upperman High School in Baxter. He was a member of Cookeville First Baptist Church. He was a Billing Clerk with Averitt Express of Cookeville. Brian loved life, he knew no strangers. He was athletic and loved the outdoors. He joined the U.S. Marine Corps in January 2011, he was The Honor Graduate of Marine Combat Training at Camp Geiger, N.C. During the period of August 13, 2011 he was assigned to Company D 4th Combat Engineer Battalion Knoxville, TN. Due to his noteworthy physical conditioning and superior efforts he was awarded a Letter of Appreciation for successfully attained a score of 300 on the Marine Corps Combat Fitness Test. He is survived by parents John A. and Barbara Cotton Walton of Cookeville, brother & sister-in-law John David and Amanda Walton of Cookeville, maternal grandmother Helen Brooks of Memphis, Tn., Uncles & Aunts: Dianne Nutt , Brenda & Freddy Grinder all of Memphis, Bonita Gailor of Augusta, GA, Arthur & Ila Clarke of Perth, Australia, and several cousins. He is also survived by Kayla"�s family; parents, Glenn and Debbie Biddy and brother, Logan Biddy all of Cleveland, TN.
