Brenda Marmon

Memorial services for Brenda Joyce Marmon, 75 of Sparta, will be Saturday, September 3 at 2 PM at Doyle Baptist Church, 5496 McMinnville Highway, Doyle, TN 38559.The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until service time at the church. Bro. Tim Judd and Bro. Elmore Judd will officiate. Mrs. Marmon died Saturday, August 27, 2022 in Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born February 1, 1947 in Nashville to the late Buford and Cornelia Hannah Duke. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death husband, Carl Marmon and a son, Steve Marmon. She was a retired machine operator with Red Kap of Sparta and later with Phillips of Sparta. Brenda was a member of Doyle Baptist Church and had served as a Sunday School Teacher. She enjoyed working in her garden and flowers, going to yard sales and spending time with family and friends, especially the grandkids. Survivors include daughter, Kimberly Marmon of Sparta; grandchildren: Brenda Scott, Brandon Lewis, Misty Marmon and Josh Marmon; and nine great grandchildren.
