Brenda Lee Slager Smith

Mrs. Brenda Lee Slager Smith, age 52 of Cookeville passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at River Park Hospital in McMinnville TN. Brenda was born April 8, 1959 in Cookeville TN to late Peggy Joyce Baldwin. Brenda is survived by her husband; David Earl Smith, two children; Jenifer Stover, Brandon Lee (Rhoda) Slager of Cookeville. She is also survived by one sister; Debra Ann (Steve) Nunn of Plant City FL. She also is survived by an uncle Carsie (Marsha) Baldwin, two aunts Minnie Bell Curtin and Patricia Wright of Murfreesboro TN. She is also survived by four grandchildren. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her mother and a son James Lee Slager. The family has chosen cremation and a memorial service will be held Saturday, November 5, 2011 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Zion Church of Christ in Jackson County. The family has requested that contributions be made to the Kidney Foundation or to the American Cancer Society.
