Brenda Harp

Funeral services for Brenda Sue Harp, age 69 of Cookeville, were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday February 23 at the Dyer Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home. Bro. Danny Lane and Bro. Mike Adams officiated. Interment followed at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. The family received friends Monday from 5 - 7 p.m and again Tuesday from 10 a.m. until service time. Social distancing and the use of masks were appreciated. Brenda passed away Saturday morning February 20, 2021 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born July 26, 1951 in Cookeville, TN to Gladys Cleghorn Stover of Cookeville and the late Tommy Robbins. Brenda was a homemaker who loved to read. In addition to her mother, she is survived by daughters, Karen (Roy) Spurlock of Sparta, Donnita Pearson, Vernoica (Jeremiah) Johnson, and Melissa Harp all of Cookeville; step daughters, Tammy and Donna Harp; brothers, Danny (Dawn) Robbins, Rick (Donna) Robbins, and Randy (Robin) Robbins all of Battle Creek, MI; sister, Cindy (Richard) Speith of Battle Creek, MI; grandchildren, Amanda Roberts, Holley Read, Travis Roberts, Lindsey Gibbons, step daughters,Tammy and Donna Harp; great grandchildren, Ashlyn Goodpaster, Brianna Goodpaster, and Kyndrick Read. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Eugene Harp. Dyer Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral was in charge of arrangements.
