Brenda Faye Holley

Mrs. Brenda Faye Holley, age 64, of Cookeville, passed away on Monday, December 20, 2010 at NHC of Smithville. She was born July 19, 1946 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Willie Oscar and Willie Grey Watts Elrod. She is survived by two children Vicky (Virgil) Norrod of Morrison, TN and Sondra (Bob) Peltier of Baxter, TN as well as three grandchildren, Steven Handy (Tasia), Kristan Harville, and Kaitlyn Harville: and two great-grandchildren Ramsey Snook and Rush Handy. In addition she is survived by one sister, Peggy (Eddie) Willis of Griffin, GA; three brothers—Shelby Gene Elrod of Algood,TN; David Elrod of Buffalo Valley, TN and Bobby Elrod of Cookeville, TN. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, a son Donnie Thomas, one brother Jimmy Elrod, an Uncle John Watts, and an aunt, Ruby Fields. The family has chosen cremation and a memorial service has been set for Thurdsay December 23, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. with visitation from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the chapel of Dyer Funeral Home.
