She passed away on December 11,2024, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. She was a beloved member of her community, known for her warm spirit and dedication to her family and friends.

Brenda had a commendable career, working at IWC, Tennessee Tech Bookstore, and the Tennessee Tech Post Office. Her commitment to her work was evident throughout her professional life, and she often left a positive impression on those who crossed her path.

She attended Alpine school, and was a graduate of Livingston Academy. Her spiritual journey was deeply connected to the Algood Church of Christ, where she actively participated and nurtured her faith.

Brenda's life was filled with love and laughter, particularly through the many cherished moments spent with her family. She found joy in traveling and creating fun games to play with her loved ones. Those who knew her appreciated her zest for life and her ability to bring people together.

She is survived by her two sons, Robert (Laura) Allen and David (Janielle) Allen, both of Cookeville; her daughter, Amy (Bryann) Fox of Bloomington Springs; her brother, Mark (Lydia) Gore; her sisters, Bobbie Secrest and Judy Crabtree; as well as her precious grandchildren, Eli Fox, Joseph Allen, Jack Fox, Estelle Allen, and Miles Allen.
