Brandin Bays

Memorial services for Mr. Brandin Bays, age 50, of Cookeville, will be at 3 p.m. Sunday January 19 at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home. Judy Duke will officiate. His family will receive friends Sunday from 2 p.m. until service time. Brandin was born September 13, 1969 in Orange County, CA to Candace Bays of Cookeville, and the late Jon William Bays. He passed away suddenly Thursday January 9, 2020. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Whitney Draper Bays, whom he married October 3, 1999; beloved daughter, Charlotte "Charley" Elizabeth Bays; sister, Corie Fields (husband, Anthony) of Cookeville, four brothers, Adin Bays (wife, Donna) of Houston, TX, Dustin Bays (wife, Maggie) of Cookeville, Eric Bays of Knoxville, and Jordan Bays (wife, Rihanna) of Cookeville. He is also survived by nephews, Zachery Fields (wife, Hanna), Landon Bays, Avery Bays, and Carter Bays; nieces, Megan Devries (husband, Seth), Emily Fields, and Hunter McManus (husband, Logan); great niece, Macie Devries; and many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by grandparents, William R. and Ellen H. Bays, and William Braden and Beverly Braden-Beam. Brandin enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and being outdoors. He also loved cooking and grilling. He most loved spending time with his daughter on adventure trips and travels.
