Funeral services for Bonnie L. Jeter, 94, of Cookeville, will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 25, at the Cookeville Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will be in Crest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3-8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 24, at the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. Mrs. Jeter will also lie in state at the Church from 10 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday. Mrs. Jeter died Friday, Nov. 21, 2008, at the NHC Health Care of Cookeville She was born March 12, 1914, in Kirksville MO to the late Clinton Keller and Nellie Overton Keller. Ms. Jeter was a member of Cookeville Free Will Baptist Church and served her family as a homemaker. Her family includes Two daughters…Diane Hodges, wife of the late Bob Hodges of Cookeville and Trula Saeger and her husband Jim of Antioch TN Five grandchildren: Melissa Diane Herb, Cindy Morgan, Dean Hodges, Mark Hodges, and Currey Saeger: Nine Great Grandchildren: Mia, Mitchell and Madison Herb, Clifton Morgan II, Holly Morgan, Ariel and Josh Hodges, Allison and Mark Hodges: and Two Great Great Grandchildren; Alisa Ball and Clifton Morgan III. Pallbearers will be… Active: Matthew Herb, Dean Hodges, Mark Hodges, Clifton Morgan, Clifton Morgan II, Terry Priest Scott Brooks and Jim Saeger. Honorary: Don Anderson, Frank Howard, Robert Mosley, Claude Mullins, Lewis Billingsley, Ray Box, and Tony Briggs. Bro. Gary Farris and Bro. Sterl Paramore will be officiating the service. The family would like to offer their appreciation to the staff of NHC of Cookeville for the wonderful care of their mother. Also, thank you to Don Anderson for his compassion and care of Mrs. Bonnie.
