Bobby Estel Spurlock

Funeral Services for Bobby Estel Spurlock, age 76, of Cookeville, will be Thursday, December 4, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Popular Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Spurlock passed away Monday, December 1, 2014 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born January 9, 1938 in Cookeville, TN to the late Howard Spurlock and Edith Stone Spurlock. Bobby was a kind spirted gentleman; he was loved by all that knew him. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, and bowling. Bobby is survived by his wife; Pansy Fletcher Spurlock, one son; Tim (wife Billie) Spurlock of New Port Richie FL, four step children; Bobby McCloud, Ronnie McCloud, Gail Gillespie and Teresa Croslin. One grandchild; Stephaine Spurlock, one great grandchild, Eric Bohannon, Bobby is also survived by two brothers; Michael (wife Linda) Spurlock of Cookeville and Terry (wife Brenda) Spurlock of Smyrna. He also leaves behind a host of friends and family. In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his first wife, Norma Moody Spurlock, one sister, Francis Morphew and one brother, Jim Spurlock. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Bro. Scott Griner will be conducting the services. .
