Funeral services for Billy Howard Stewart, age 92 of Cookeville, will be 1 p.m. Tuesday February 15 at the Dyer Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home. Bro. Johnny Fox will officiate. Interment will follow at West Cemetery in the Burgess Falls Community. His family will receive friends Tuesday from 11 a.m. until time of services. Billy passed away Thursday February 10, 2022 at his home. He was born April 20, 1929 in Cookeville, TN to the late Milas Preston and Anna Pearl Ellis Stewart. Billy was a lifelong farmer in Putnam County. He was member of Holladay Church of Christ, and beloved husband, son, brother, and uncle. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mattie Elene Bowman Stewart. He is survived by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
