Bill Buckner

BAXTER-Billy "Bill" Ray Buckner, 73 of Baxter died Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. His wishes of cremation and no service are being honored. He was born November 20, 1947 in White County, TN to the late Arvil and Ollie Mae Weaver Buckner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a uncle, Hershell Weaver. Bill was a retired press operator with Red Kap of Cookeville. He enjoyed collecting old cars and antiques. His pastimes were fishing, gardening and working in his flower bed. Survivors include daughters Emily Rae Buckner and Dana Lynn Buckner both of Cookeville, sisters and brother-in-law Patricia "Pat" and Jack Carter of Sparta and Carol Young of Texas, nephew Scott (Tammi) Howard, great nieces: Amanda Howard and Rebecca Howard, great nephew Trevor Howard.
