Funeral Services for Mrs. Bernie W. Taylor age 90, of Greenbrier, TN formally of Baxter will be Thursday April 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 15, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Mrs. Taylor passed away peacefully Sunday April 12, 2015 at her residence. Bernie was born October 12, 1924 in Baxter to the late David Thomas Williams and Cancada Elrod Willaims. Bernie enjoyed spending time outside and loved traveling in the motorhome with her daughter and son-in-law Bill. She was also a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Mrs. Taylor is survived by two daughters, Lena Schefke Doring (husband Bill) of Greenbrier and Geri Linsell of Nashville; two sisters, Eunice Sliger of Cookeville and Orene Dunn of Baxter. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents Bernie was preceded in by her husband Chesley Taylor; one son, James Medlin; three sisters, Opel Dunn, Vera Allison and Ilene Janko; five brothers, Loftis, Ridley, Curtis, Villard and Brice Williams. Bro. Roger Cooper will be conducting the service.
