BAXTER-Funeral services for Minnie Belle Youngblood, 79 of Silver Point, TN will be Saturday, November 14 at 1 PM at Herrens Chapel Church of Christ. Interment will follow in Cookeville City Cemetery. Mrs. Youngblood passed away Wednesday evening, November 11, 2015 at NHC Healthcare in Smithville, TN. She was born August 9, 1936 in Putnam County, TN to the late General Vester "G.V." and Mary Thomas Herren. She was a graduate of Baxter Seminary. She was a homemaker and member of Herrens Chapel Church of Christ. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son Micah Youngblood, sisters Mary Herren, Dorothy Martin, Lucy Jones, Eunice Jones, Lois Phillips and Sue Ray Nord, brothers Howard Herren, Zina Herren and Jere Herren. Survivors include husband of 61 years, John Ivan Youngblood (Married July 10, 1954 in Rossville, GA) of Silver Point, daughter Tina Youngblood of Kansas City, MO, sons and a daughter-in-law Randall Youngblood of Gallatin, Jeff and Linda Youngblood all of Silver Point, brother and sister-in-law Charles and Bonnie Herren of Cookeville, sisters-in-law Helen Herren of Baxter, Marylene Starnes of Silver Point, Sherrill McMahan of Owensboro, KY, grandchildren Melissa Youngblood of Crossville, Zach (Cora) Youngblood of McMinnville, host of nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends at Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home Friday from 4 to 8 PM and after 11 AM Saturday at the church. Active Pallbearers Jimmy Jones, James Lee Jones, Zach Youngblood, Mike Herren, Rellon Jones and Darius Ramsey. Bro. Phil Loftis will officiate.
