Barbara Jean-Hickey Carter

Funeral Services for Barbara Jean Hickey-Carter, age 48, of Warren Michigan, will be Wednesday evening, January 23, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 23 from 3:00 p.m. until time of the service. Burial will be Thursday, January 24, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the Hickey Cemetery. Barbara entered into rest Friday, January 18, 2013 in Warren Michigan. She was born May 17, 1964 in Putnam County TN to the late John Hickey and Martha Mullins Hickey. Mrs. Carter is survived by two children; Lana (Clifford) Price of Warren MI and Renee Darlene Carter of Detroit MI. She is also survived by three sisters; Reda (Douglas) Tucker-Hickey of Baxter TN, Darlene (Frank) Hickey of Detroit, and Donna (Chuckey) Hickey of Warren MI as well as four brothers; John Hickey of Detroit MI, Isaiah (Teresa) Hickey of Warren MI, Tony (Kitty) Hickey of Baxter TN and James (Rose) Hickey of Detroit MI. In addition Barbara leaves one granddaughter, Samara Price, and three step grandsons; Robert Troy Price, William David Price and Clifford Bruce Price, as well as a special friend, Donald McCoy. In addition to her parents Barbara was preceded in death by one sister, Lesa Hickey. Pallbearers will be, Isaiah Hickey, Tony Hickey, Tony Hickey Jr., Mike Hickey, Martha Jane Hickey, and Kitty Hickey.
