Barbara Inger

Funeral services for Barbara Ann Inger, age 71, of Clinton, TN and formerly of Cookeville, will be at 12 noon Saturday, February 11, at Dyer Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Dunn officiating. Interment will follow at Dodson Branch Cemetery in Jackson County. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of the service. Barbara passed away February 9, 2017 in Summit View Nursing Home of Rocky Top, TN after a long illness. She is now free of pain and with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was born May 30, 1945 in Wayne County, MI to the late Joseph C. and Golda Young Inger. She had been employed by Upper Cumberland Development District, GTE, and Porelon in Cookeville. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Terri Davenport, and her granddaughter, Mishayla Sheree Davenport. Survivors include her granddaughter, Emily Davenport, brother Joe (Vicky) Inger, nieces Miriam (Marty) Bradley, Leah Inger, and nephew Joseph (Mandi) Inger, aunt Lula Young, and son-in-law Kenneth Davenport, plus many cousins.
