Barbara Ann Milton

Funeral services for Barbara Ann Milton, 78 of Cookeville will be Monday, December 21 at 1 PM from the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday after 11 AM until service time at the funeral home. Dr. Jason Groe will officiate. Mrs. Milton died Friday December 18, 2020 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born in Cookeville on September 6, 1942 to the late Braskie Modell and Cecil Eunetta Clouse Buckner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Billy James Milton, sister Robbie Jones and a brother Howard Buckner. She was a graduate of Central High School and a member of Poplar Grove Baptist Church. She was a medical clerk with the hospitalist office of Cookeville Regional Medical Center and Dr. James Staggs Office. Barbara was a loving and wonderful mom and granny. She loved her family and spending time with them. Survivors include daughter Sharon (Kelly) Byers, son Steve (Penny) Milton, sister Judy Kirby all of Cookeville, grandchildren: Andrea (Lee) Martin, Andrew (Lindsey) Byers, Madison Milton and Baylee Milton, great-grandchildren: Julie Martin, Grant Martin, Andsley Byers and Lewis Banx Byers. Active Pallbearers will be Andrew Byers, Lee Martin, Larry, Gary and Zachary Buckner and Eddie McDonald. Due to COVID-19, social distancing measures will be observed.
