Funeral services for Mrs. Audrey Helen Hunter, 89 of Bloomington Springs will be held Tuesday May 1 at 1 p.m. in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home with Rev. John Preece officiating. Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Cemetery. Mrs. Hunter died Saturday morning April 28, 2012 surrounded by her family in NHC of Cookeville. Mrs. Hunter was born December 23, 1922 in Jackson County, Tennessee to the late Wade Chesney and Anna Jewell Birdwell Medlin. She was a homemaker and of the Presbyterian Faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Hunter; two brothers, John Medlin and Willard Medlin; and a son-in-law, Earl Robbins. Survivors include three daughters and a son-in-law, Juanita L. "Cookie"� Robbins of Cookeville, TN, Jeanette Hall of Bloomington Springs, and Judy & Wayne Hargis of Cookeville; eight grandchildren, Gina (Jim) Reels, Louie (Diana) Robbins, Chris (Deborah) Robbins, Jennifer (Donald) Bartlett, Julie Hall, Leann (Michael) Bouldin, Dereck (Brandi) Hargis, and Belinda Carter; sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy & Joel Cowan; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Carl & Linda Medlin of Lancing, MI, and Herman & Maxine Medlin of Granville, TN; 26 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and extended family. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Mrs. Hunter"�s family will receive friends Monday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
