A'Shaii Miles

Funeral services for A'Shaii Duprae Miles, five month son of Joshua Spicer and Oriyana Miles, will be Wednesday, May 16 at 1 PM from the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Algood Heritage Cemetery. He departed this life Monday, May 7, 2018 at The Children's Hospital at Tri Star Centennial in Nashville. He was born December 1, 2017 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He weighed 4 lbs 1 oz. A'Shaii was a beautiful happy baby who brought immense joy to every life he touched in his brief five months of life. He will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his great grandfather, William Floyd Cartwright. Survivors in addition to his parents include maternal grandparents, Mitzi and Joseph Schibik and Jamal Mile; paternal grandparents, Catherine and Cyronose Spicer; great-grandparents, Linda Cartwright, Menerva Spicer, and Gwendolyn and Ronald Miles; aunts, Quanisha Cartwright, Elaysia, Lakoiya and Nakaiyia Schibik-Cartwright, Latoya and Marcus Preston, and Cristle and Ashley Spicer; uncles, Sean, Dupree, Raymar, Jay and Caleb Spicer; favored cousin, Kry'stella Easley; and a host of great aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends from 11 AM until service time at the funeral home. Dr. Cyronose D. Spicer, Sr. and Rev. Catherine Spicer will officiate.
