Arthur Rothmann

A Memorial Mass for Arthur Harold Rothmann, 81 of Cookeville will be Celebrated Monday, June 13 at 11 A.M. from St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church with Father Reed Mungovan officiating. Mr. Rothmann died Friday morning, June 10, 2011 at his home. He was born October 13, 1929 in New York, New York to the late George M. and Helen Meister Rothmann. Mr. Rothmann received his BS Degree in Hydraulic Engineering from CCNY in New York in 1959. He was a retired hydraulic engineer with the Board of Water Supply with the City of New York. He was a U. S. Army Veteran and a member of the Catholic War Veterans Post 1342 of Gettysburg, Pa. He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Survivors include wife of 54 years Helen Reilly Rothmann (whom he married August 25, 1956 in Brooklyn NY); two daughters & sons-in-law Helen-Marie & Stanley Kulis of Cookeville, Mary Louise & Brian Loy of Stamford, Ct., two sons & daughters-in-law Arthur, Jr. and Jodi Rothmann of Suffern, N.Y., George & Dorene Rothmann of Baltimore, Md.; eight grandchildren: Matthew, Dannielle & Kelly-Ann Kulis, Randy & Scott Thompson, Samantha, Kenneth, & Christopher Rothmann; great-grandson Cayden Kulis; and his niece Linda Rothmann.
