Arthur "Art" Marion Bobst

Mr. Arthur “Art” Marion Bobst, age 77, of Cookeville, entered into rest Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Mr. Bobst was born September 30, 2013 in Portsmouth OH to he late Arthur Marion Bobst Sr. and Nettie Springer Bobst. Art was a plumber for the state of Florida for many years before moving to Tennessee. He and his wife were members of the Calvary Chapel Free Will Baptist Church in Hollywood, Florida. They attended the Friendship Church here in Cookeville. Mr. Bobst is survived by his wife, Sharon Elma Smith Bobst and two children, Bruce Allen Bobst and Tammy Marie Truesdale (husband Randy) both of Knoxville. In addition Art is survived by two brothers, David and Roy Bobst. Mr. Bobst was preceded in death by his parents. The family has chosen cremation at Art’s request and a Memorial Service is planned for Sunday, September 21, 2013 at Friendship Church in Cookeville with Bro. Nathan Heaty conduction the service.
