Arnold Maxwell

BAXTER CHAPEL-Ralph Arnold Maxwell, Jr. 77 of Baxter died Tuesday night, January 21, 2025 at Smith County Health and Rehabilitation in Carthage, TN. He was born October 19, 1947 in Cookeville, TN.

He was preceded in death by parents, Ralph and Margaret Allison Maxwell, grandparents, Virgil P. and Etta Roberts Maxwell, William Herbert and Maggie Virginia Sullivan Allison.

He was a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War.

Arnold retired from General Motors in Michigan.

Survivors include sons, Arnie Maxwell and Johnathan "John" Maxwell; sisters, Connie (Charles) Dalton, Lisa (Troy ) Parks; brother, Jeff Maxwell all of Baxter; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services with military honors by the Veterans Honor Guard for Arnold will be Saturday, January 25 at 3 PM at Samuel Maxwell Cemetery in Baxter. Chaplain Jim McAfee will officiate.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home, everyone will gather at the cemetery for the service.
