Anna Mae Burgess

Graveside services for Anna Mae Burgess, 80 of Baxter will be Saturday, July 26 at 1 P.M. at Crest Lawn Cemetery. Bro. John Pippin will officiate. Mrs. Burgess died Friday, July 25, 2014 at her home in Baxter. She was born April 22, 1934 in Putnam County to the late Ewin P. and Oda Carr Anderson. She was a homemaker and member of Baxter Church of Christ. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ward Burgess on February 12, 2011, two sons James "JIMMY" Dale Burgess and Gary Burgess, grandson Matthew Lawson, several brothers and sisters. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law Charlene and Kenny Lawson of Rickman; son and daughter-in-law Colon and Angela Burgess of Baxter; brother and sister-in-law Harold Richard "RICH" and Mick Anderson of Baxter; seven grandchildren, Chenoa Maynard, Jennifer Burgess, Justin Burgess, Madyson Burgess, Heather Thames, Christopher Burgess and Dale Lawson; three great-grandchildren: Mason Lawson, Harper Thames and Nora Thames. There will be no visitation at the funeral home, family and friends will gather at Crest Lawn Cemetery for the service.
