Ann Smith Huddleston

Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Smith Huddleston, age 89, of Cookeville, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday September 8 in the Dyer Funeral Home. Rev Ronnie Neal and Rev. Lynn Bullock will officiate. Interment will be at a later date in Salem Cemetery. Mrs. Huddleston passed away Wednesday September 5, 2018 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Ann was born Thursday February 10, 1929 in Putnam County, TN to the late John William Sr. and Arlie Beunolah Huddleston Judd. Ann was a life-long member of Salem Church in Cookeville. She was a retired machine operator for the former Wilson Sporting Goods with over 30 years of service. Survivors include her son, Marlin (Kandy) Smith of Cookeville; two daughters, Leigh (Tony) Palicki of Huntsville, AL, Carol (Mike) Conley of Liberty, TN; three brothers, David (Maureen) Judd, Dale (Dean) Judd, and Charles (Mildred) Judd all of Cookeville; two sisters, Jean Whitaker and Patti Maxwell both of Cookeville; and five grandchildren, Amy and Joshua Smith, Clayton Palicki, Jan and Michael Conley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Willis Smith; second husband, John Huddleston; brother, John William Judd Jr., and two sisters, Eugenia Huddleston and Carolyn Holloway.
