Funeral services for Mrs. Angela Marie Adkins, 44 of Cookeville will be held Tuesday March 11 at 11 a.m. in the in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Algood City Cemetery. Dr. Jimmy Arms will officiate. Mrs. Adkins died Saturday March 8, 2014 at her home. She was born October 28, 1969 in Cookeville. Angela was a member of Stevens Street Baptist Church. She was a 1987 graduate of Cookeville High School. She was employed with The Swallows Insurance Agencies and collectively had over 28 years invested in the insurance field. She was active in her community having coached and served on the Board of Directors for Algood T-Ball and Coaches Pitch Baseball for 10 years. She served 7 years on the committee for the Putnam County Chapter of Susan G. Komen. Angela was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Reba Migliore, Martin and Frances Migliore; and maternal grandparents, J. D. and Lula Allen. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Rick Adkins (whom she married April 19, 1986 in Cookeville); two sons, Wade and fiancée Amanda Smith, and Wesley Adkins all of Cookeville; mother and step-father, Shirley and Ted Webb of Livingston; father and step-mother, Martin and Brenda Migliore JR of Cookeville; two sisters, Michele Smith of Cookeville and Melissa Dover of Ash Flat, AR; brother, Chad Webb of Morristown, MS; father and mother-in-law, Joe Frank and Martha Adkins, sister-in-law, Tammy Hoover ; step-brother, Ian Stewart all of Cookeville; and a host of other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Honorary Pallbearers will be LeAnn Martin, Sally Grimes, Tracy Swack, Linda Welch, Tracy Bussell, Patty Marsh, Deanna Smith, Beth Suits and employees of the Swallows Agencies. Active pallbearers will be Chad Selby, Ronnie Reels, Danny Vaughn, Zach Randolph, Danny Cobble, Spencer and Chase Migliore, Will and Wes Roberson, Mike and Greg Hill.
