Amy Denise Tollison

Funeral services for Amy Denise Tollison, 32, of Baxter, will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 12, from the chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Double Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends from noon until 6 p.m. today, Sunday, Oct. 11, at the funeral home. Ms. Tollison died Fri., Oct. 9, 2009, in White County Community Hospital. She was born Jan. 22, 1977, in Cookeville to Ricky Tollison and Ophia Darlene Gang. Ms. Tollison was of the Free Will Baptist faith. She was a waitress. In addition to her parents, her family includes her grandmother, Ann Lee Massa; two daughters, Malia Stanley and Makayla Randolph; two brothers, Travis and Daniel Gang, both of Baxter; two sisters, Deonna and Cynthia Tollison, both of Baxter; an aunt, Annette Massa of Baxter; and an uncle, Eric Massa and wife Charlotte of Baxter. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Ammon Dillard Massa and Pleas Tollison. Bro. Fabron Nicholson will officiate at the services. The Amy Tollison Trust Fund has been established by Eric Massa, thanks to Davis Watts at First Tennessee Bank, to help with funeral expenses. Donations may be made to the bank branch on Jefferson Avenue in Cookeville.
