Alina Fernandez

Mrs. Alina Maria Fernandez, age 56, of Silver Point, passed away Sunday evening, November 6, 2016 at Signature Heath Care of Putnam County in Algood, TN. Memorial services will be held at a later date in Miami, FL. She was born February 12, 1960 in Havana, Cuba to the late Adrian Valdes and Carmen Izquierdo Valdes of Cookeville. Alina attended Salem Missionary Church and Boma First Church of God. She worked as a Spanish translator and previously as a loan officer at Bank of America in Sparta, TN Alina was artistic and possessed a gift to create fine arts and crafts. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son, Adrian Fernandez of Hialeah, FL; sister and brother-in-law, Anna and Alex Fernandez of Cookeville; brother, Armando Valdes of Miami, FL; niece, Kristy Valdes of Cookeville; nephew Danny Valdes of Miami, FL; and mother-in-law, Ofelia Fernandez of Cookeville.
