Memorial services for Mr. Albert Cordell Thompson II, age 71, of Cookeville, will be Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses located at 3850 Gainesboro Grade, Cookeville, TN. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 15, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. until time of the service at the Kingdom Hall. Mr. Thompson passed away Thursday, March 6, 2014 peacefully and surrounded by his loving family at his home. Albert was born January 23, 1943 in Detroit MI to the late Albert C. Thompson. and Elise Morgan Thompson. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Mr. Thompson also served as a Ministerial Servant at the West Congregation. Albert was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved serving in the ministry. He also enjoyed fishing and was an avid UT football fan. Mr. Thompson is survived by his wife of 51 years, Faye Bullard Thompson; two daughters, Cherrie Thompson and Jennifer (Benjamin) Garrett; two sons, Albert C. (Mickey) Thompson III and Victor Bullard all of Cookeville; five grandchildren, Carrie Thompson, Olivia Thompson, Gabriel Bullard, Sean Bullard and Cooper Garrett of Cookeville and two brothers, Tommy (Wanda) Thompson and Eddie (Linda) Thompson also of Cookeville. In addition to his parents, Mr. Thompson was preceded in death by his son, Brian Thompson.
