BAXTER-Alan Michael Harris 39 of the Wolf Creek Community of DeKalb County died Friday, February 25, 2022 at his home. His wishes of cremation are being honored and a private family burial will be held at Odd Fellows Cemetery at a later date. He was born February 22, 1983 in Cookeville to the late Junior Laley Harris and Janie Shanks Harris. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by grandparents: Solon and Eudora "Dot" Watts Shanks, Robert Waldo and Ethel Vickers Harris, uncle Reggie W. Shanks. He attended Upperman High School in Baxter. He worked in the pet care industry. Survivors include brother Daniel Harris of Silver Point, Aunts and Uncles Ann and Terry Burton of Silver Point, Ellie and Larry Lindsey of Lebanon, Barbara Shanks, cousins Brian Lindsey, Ashley Murillo, Lynn Burton, Tim Burton and Jennifer Vernell.
