BAXTER-Funeral services for Wilma Randolph, 90 of Baxter, will be Friday, October 9 at 11 AM from the Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5 to 7 PM and after 9 AM Friday at the funeral home. Bro. Stanley Gantt will officiate. Due to COVID-19 social distancing measures will be observed. Mrs. Randolph died Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at her home. She was born in Silver Point on April 8, 1930 to the late John and Sarah Lafever Hamilton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, J.D. Randolph died June 3, 2015, sons and a daughter-in-law Ronald and Claudia Randolph, James Randolph, great grandson Joshua Guinn, sister Maie Nell Carr, brothers Floyd "Hoss" Hamilton, Jesse Hamilton, Roy "Rook" Hamilton and Toy Hamilton. She was a member of Bethlehem Church of Christ. She enjoyed gardening, canning and quilting. She was a past employee of Georgia Boot and Acme Boot Companies. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law Gail and Bill Beuerlein of Cookeville, daughter-in-law Stacy Randolph of Baxter, grandchildren: Margaret Guinn, Lynn Dearing, Randy Randolph, Tim Randolph, Mike Randolph, Dustin Randolph, Johnny Allison, Nikki Davidson and Amanda Dutrow, 18 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren, sisters Vivian Freeman of Lebanon, Geneva Dempsey of Summerville, GA and Belle Herren of Baxter. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements (931)858-2134.
