Funeral services for Mrs. Willie Della Stout, age 93 of Cookeville, will be held Friday, April 8th at 3 p.m. at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Cemetery. Rev. Mike Head will officiate. Mrs. Stout's family will receive friends Thursday from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. and again Friday from 2 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Stout died Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Signature HealthCARE of Putnam County in Algood. She was born October 7, 1922 in the Rocky Point community of Putnam County to the late John and Mary Dee Buckner Daniels. "Aunt Willie" as she was affectionately known to everyone, was a sweet, southern lady. She was employed at Stone's Appliances and the Gainesboro and Cookeville Shirt Factories. She was a loving caretaker to loved ones and enjoyed fishing, gardening and crocheting. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Carmel Willie Stout; sisters, Mattie Hutchinson, Fannie Loftis, Pansy Gaw, Artie Mae Stone and Ethel Daniels; brothers, Virgle Daniels, Herman Daniels and Johnnie Daniels; and by special nieces, Johnnie Pearl Daniels Medlin and Sue Rhea Stone Ardary. She is survived by a host of nephews and nieces including special niece Marie Roberson; numerous great nieces and nephews including special great niece Debbie Ardary Hannah of Cookeville; and by many great-great nieces and nephews.
