William Flatt

Funeral services for Mr. William Eugene "Bill"� Flatt, 69 of Sautee-Nucoochee, GA and formerly of Cookeville, will be held Sunday September 11 at 3 p.m. in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Cookeville City Cemetery. Rev. Rick Lacy will officiate. Mr. Flatt died suddenly Wednesday September 7, 2011 at his home. He was born January 23, 1942 in Cookeville, Tennessee to the late Issac Arnold and Lola B. Stewart Flatt. He was a retired radio announcer having worked at several stations in the Southeast. At one-time he was a popular radio personality with WHUB in Cookeville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Harlen Taylor "Yogi"� Flatt. Survivors include two sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty Ann & Richard Howell of Cookeville, Anita & Floyd Norrod of Rickman; and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. His family will receive friends Sunday from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
