William "Bill" Nash

Funeral services for William (Bill) Lynn Nash, 49, of Cookeville, will be held at 1 pm Friday June 22 at Corinth Church of Christ in Sparta, TN. Pastor David Corley and Bro. John Pippin will officiate. Military honors will be rendered at Saylors Cemetery in White County following the service. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5 "� 8 pm at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home and again Friday from 12 noon until service time at the church. Mr. Nash died Sunday, June 17, 2012 at Nashville VA Medical Center. He was born March 11, 1963 in Sparta, TN to Jimmie Willette Hutson Nash and the late Olin Glynn Nash. Mr. Nash was a member of Life Church in Cookeville. He was retired from the U. S. Army and a veteran of the Operation Iraqi Freedom. He loved to hunt and fish. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Jennifer Nixon Nash of Cookeville, (whom he married August 4, 2007 in Sparta, TN); two sons, Stephen Nash of Lebanon, and Chance Parker of Cookeville; daughter, Madison Nash of Cookeville; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Royce Nash of Cookeville, James and Delena Nash of Sparta, David Luke and Vickie Nash of Sparta, and Jerry and Penny Nash of Woodbury, TN; and sister and brother-in-law, Glynda and Dennis Wallace of Sparta. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
